Its quiet residential streets, waterfront homes and convenient location make it especially appealing to boaters seeking quick ocean access without sacrificing proximity to the heart of Fort Lauderdale. Bordering Rio Vista Isles, Lauderdale Harbours is just minutes from Lauderdale Yacht Club, Fort Lauderdale Beach, Las Olas Boulevard and the airport. It is also ideally positioned near Pier Sixty-Six and the new Omni Fort Lauderdale, within the growing area some are calling the city’s new Hospitality Corridor, bringing residents close to luxury resorts, waterfront dining, marinas, entertainment and the expanding Convention Center district.

Lauderdale Harbours is practical luxury for buyers who actually use the boat. It sits just south of Rio Vista and north of the 17th Street corridor, so Port Everglades, the airport, Las Olas, and downtown all fit inside a tight radius.

Waterfront and boating

The core advantage is access to the Port Everglades route from a true single-family neighborhood, and Lauderdale Yacht Club is essentially next door. Canal and dock conditions vary by street, so I verify depth, canal width, and the route for each property instead of promising that every home works for every boat.

Dining and the daily rhythm

The 17th Street waterfront has become one of the most interesting dining corridors in the city. Pier Sixty-Six offers several restaurants, and the Omni Fort Lauderdale adds Ibis Sky Lounge, Fair Ketch, and Barchetta, its waterfront Italian chophouse. Las Olas is a short drive.
